Some of our readers will remember the Samsung Infuse 4G that was announced back in January. It looks like it will be available from AT&T in the US from the 15th of May.
The Samsung Infuse 4G will be available for $199 on AT&T, and customers will have to sign up to a two-year agreement, with a minimum $15 data plan.

Display and Performance
The Infuse features a 4.5-inch Super AMOLED Plus display, which is known for its vibrant colors and deep blacks, making it one of the standout features of this device. The Super AMOLED Plus technology offers better color accuracy and consumes less power compared to its predecessors, making it ideal for multimedia consumption and gaming.
Processing is provided by a 1.2GHz Hummingbird processor, which ensures smooth performance for everyday tasks and moderate gaming. Although it comes with Android 2.2 Froyo, which is somewhat outdated by today’s standards, it still offers a decent user experience with access to a wide range of apps and services from the Google Play Store.
Camera Capabilities
The Samsung Infuse 4G is equipped with dual cameras. On the front, you get a 1.3-megapixel camera that is perfect for video chats and selfies. While it may not be the highest resolution by today’s standards, it is sufficient for basic video calling needs.
On the back, there is an 8-megapixel camera that allows you to capture high-quality photos and videos. The camera comes with various features such as autofocus, LED flash, and geo-tagging, which enhance the overall photography experience. The 8-megapixel sensor ensures that your photos are detailed and vibrant, making it a great choice for capturing memories on the go.
Additional Features and Offers
One of the unique selling points of the Samsung Infuse 4G is that the first 500,000 units sold will come with a $25 voucher. This voucher can be used to download content from the Samsung Media Hub, giving users access to a wide range of movies, TV shows, and other multimedia content. This offer adds significant value to the purchase, making it an attractive option for early adopters.
The device also supports AT&T’s 4G network, providing faster data speeds for browsing, streaming, and downloading content. This makes it a suitable choice for users who require reliable and fast internet connectivity on the go.
In terms of design, the Samsung Infuse 4G is sleek and lightweight, making it easy to carry around. The large display is complemented by a slim bezel, giving it a modern and stylish look. The device also features a microSD card slot, allowing users to expand the storage capacity as needed.
