Samsung will apparently launch a new smartwatch before the end of the year, the Samsung Gear S3 and there will also be a luxury version of the device.
The luxury version of the Samsung Gear S3 will be made in partnership with de Grisogono, the company that made the luxury version of the Gear S2.
de Grisogono has apparently confirmed to the Korea Herald that they are working on the new Gear S3 with Samsung at the moment.
“We are currently collaborating with Samsung to develop its next-generation smartwatch,” a de Grisogono official told The Korea Herald at the Conde Nast International Luxury Conference held in Seoul last week.
The company makes a $15,000 version of the Samsung Gear S2 at the moment and they have revealed that they are making about 100 units of this device a month at the moment.
Samsung are expected to announce their Gear S3 smartwatch along with the new Galaxy Note 6 later this year, the handset is rumored to launch some time in July.
