The smartwatches are powered by a dual-core 1.0 GHz processor and come with 768MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage, providing ample space for apps and media.
One of the standout features of the Gear S3 series is its robust build quality. The Gear S3 Frontier, in particular, is designed for outdoor use, featuring a rugged design that is both dust and water-resistant (IP68). This makes it an excellent choice for those who lead an active lifestyle. On the other hand, the Gear S3 Classic offers a more traditional and elegant look, suitable for everyday wear and formal occasions.
Connectivity and Battery Life
Both the Gear S3 Classic and Frontier come equipped with a range of connectivity options, including Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi b/g/n, and NFC. The smartwatches also support Samsung Pay, allowing users to make payments directly from their wrist. Additionally, the Gear S3 Frontier includes built-in GPS, making it easier for users to track their outdoor activities without needing to carry their smartphone.
Battery life is another area where the Gear S3 series excels. Both models are equipped with a 380mAh battery, which Samsung claims can last up to four days on a single charge, depending on usage. This extended battery life ensures that users can go about their daily activities without constantly worrying about recharging their device.
