According to a recent report Samsung may be switching from Tizen to Google’s new Wear OS (formerly Android Wear) for the new Galaxy Watch.
If Samsung does decide to switch from Tizen to Wear OS then there would be number of features that would not be available on Samsung’s new smartwatch. This would include Samsung’s Bixby voice assistant and more.
We know that Samsung has a couple of new smart watches in the works after some recent trademark filings. The Samsung Galaxy Watch and the Samsung Galaxy Fit. It will be interesting to see if Samsung does switch to Google’s Wear OS or if it launches these new devices with their own Tizen OS.
