We pretty much new the specifications on the new Samsung Galaxy Tab S tablets before they were made official yesterday, and now we have the full details on these two new Super AMOLED tablets.
Samsung has launched two tablets in their new Galaxy Tab S range, one features an 8.4 inch display, the other tablet comes with a 10.5 inch display.
“The tablet is becoming a popular personal viewing device for enjoying content, which makes the quality of the display a critical feature,” said JK Shin, CEO and President of IT & Mobile Division, Samsung Electronics. “With the launch of the Galaxy Tab S, Samsung is setting the industry bar higher for the entire mobile industry. It will provide consumers with a visual and entertainment experience that brings colors to life, beautifully packaged in a sleek and ultra-portable mobile device.”
Both of these Samsung Galaxy Tab S share similar specifications, the displays on each device are a Super AMOLED display with a WQXGA resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels.
The Galaxy Tab S tablets come with Android 4.4 Kit Kat, and feature two different processors depending on the model. You either get an 8 core Samsung Exynos 5420 1.9GHz plus 1.3GHz processor or a quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, both devices also come with a built in fingerprint sensor.
Each devices is equipped with 3GB of RAM and a choice of either 16GB or 32GB of built in storage, there is also a micro SD card slot which supports cards up to 128GB in size.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S comes with a 2.1 megapixel front facing camera and an 8 megapixel rear camera that features an LED flash. There will be a WiFi only version and also a WiFi and 4G LTE version of each tablets, and you will be bale to choose from two colors, Titanium Bronze of Dazzling White.
Samsung have said that these two new Galaxy Tab S tablets will go on sale in selective markets in July, the company has not announced which markets they will launch in, there is also now details on pricing as yet, you can find out more information over at Samsung at the link below.
