Samsung’s MWC 2014 press event is near, and the Korean OEM is expected to unveil a bunch of products including the highly rumored Samsung Galaxy S5, along with Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 tablets.
Recently, the alleged Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 and Galaxy Tab 8.0 was spotted at the FCC, hinting Samsung might launch the tablets very soon.
As mentioned before, there will be multiple versions of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4, carrying different screen sizes, including 10.1-inch, 8.0 inch and a 7-inch version.
The details about what the tablets could bring at the table are scarce, but they should carry mid-range specifications. Rumors suggest it will pack a quad core 1.2GHz processor under the hood and a 6,800 mAh battery to make sure there’s enough juice for the tablet, as well as expandable storage via microSD card slot.
On the software side, it’s rumored to ship with Android 4.4 KitKat pre-installed out of the box. We’re guessing it could launch with the similar Magazine UX that Samsung introduced with its Galaxy NotePro and TabPro line up.
Well, the Mobile World Congress 2014 is near, and Samsung’s Unpacked 5 event will take place on February 24th in Barcelona. Mark your calendars for the date as it’s going to be an action-packed event.
We’ll update you with all the products Samsung will unveil at the event. Stay tuned.
