Samsung introduced the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ with 4GB of RAM on board. Rumors suggests there’s a Galaxy S8+ variant powered by 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage which rumored to be country-specific.
According to a new report, the Samsung Galaxy S8+ variant with 6GB RAM will cost over $1000 ( KRW 1,155,000) and will be exclusive to China only.
The report continues to mention that the only color option available in this variant will be Midnight Blue. Customers who will pre-order the 6GB variant will also get a free DeX dock, which usually costs KRW 160,000 (around $140). There’s no word if it will make its way to other global markets or not, but similar handset variants in the past only launched in China.
Rest of the specifications will remain the same. There’s a 6.2-inch display sporting a resolution of 1440×2960 pixels, Snapdragon 835 processor, 128GB of internal storage, a 3,500 mAh battery and ships with Android 7.0 Nougat.
