Samsung introduced the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ in several markets across the globe. Along with that, the company also launched the premium version of the Galaxy S8+ featuring 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage in some markets.
The premium Galaxy S8+ variant has received a price cut in India, dropping to INR 70,990 just one month after its launch — the handset launched carrying a price tag of INR 74,990 ($1,162).
The updated price is already mentioned on the Korean company’s official website as well as retail stores, but the company’s official online partner FlipKart is still offering the device on the original price.
Other than the bigger storage and RAM the device comes with the same specifications as the standard variant. It ships with a 6.2-inch display sporting a resolution of 2960 by 1440 pixels, Snapdragon 835 processor, 6GB of RAM, 12MP camera for photos and videos, an 8Mp front-facing camera, a massive 3,500 mAh battery and ships with Android 7.0 Nougat.
Anyone interested in picking up the device now that it’s price has reduced.
