Samsung introduced its latest flagship devices in March with the official availability date starting in April for most markets. Since then, the company is slowly releasing the handset in more smartphone markets across the globe.
The latest market to get the all new Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ is Japan. The company has confirmed the handsets will launch in Japan sometime in June.
Unfortunately, the exact availability date is not yet available, but both devices will launch in the country in early June.
Japan is a strong market for iPhone so the folks at the Korean company have a strong task at hand to make sure the handsets are well received by the public, giving iPhone a tough competition. For that purpose, the company is expected to carry out various promotional events throughout Japan for the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+.
Samsung Galaxy S8 comes with a 5.8-inch display sporting a resolution of 1440×2960 pixels, an Exynos 8895 Octa processor paired with 4GB of RAM and 64Gb of internal storage. Other features includes a 12MP camera for photos and videos, 8MP front-facing camera, a 3,000 mAh battery and ships with Android 7.0 Nougat as its operating system. The Galaxy S8+ comes with a similar set of specifications except that it has a bigger 6.2-inch display and a bigger 3,000 mAh battery.
