We are expecting to see the new Samsung Galaxy S8 early next year, the handset could be launched at Mobile World Congress 2017 in February.
According to a recent report, Samsung are considering using LG to supply the batteries for the Galaxy S8.
Samsung are looking to make sure that they don’t have any issues with the new Samsung Galaxy S8 when it launches, after the mess they had with the Galaxy Note 7 and also the recall of the handset.
The company is apparently hoping that using LG Chem as the supplier of batteries for the device will help them avoid any problems with the batteries.
Samsung has not explained as yet exactly what the problem was with the batteries in the Galaxy Note 7, the company is still looking into it.
We are expecting the new Galaxy S8 to come with a wide range of new features and hardware, as soon as we get some more details about the device, we will let you guys know.
