The new Samsung Galaxy S7 will come with two processor options, one will feature their owns Exynos 8990 processor, the other will feature the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 820.
Last week we heard that Samsung were looking into the possibility of using heat pipes with their Galaxy S7 with the Snapdragon 820 processor and now the handset has been benchmarked.
According to a recent report, the Samsung Galaxy S7 with the Snapdragon 820 scored a multi-core score on Geekbench of 5,423, the Exynos version of the handset apparently scored a massive 6,908.
The handset is rumored to come with a 5.2 inch display, there will also be a Samsung Galaxy S7 version of the handset with a 5.7 inch display. Both handsets are rumored to have a Quad HD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels.
There are also rumors that Samsung will offer another version of the Galaxy S7 with a 4K Ultra HD display. We can also expect new cameras in Samsung’s Galaxy S7 range and Samsung is expected to use their new BRITECELL camera sensor in the handsets.
Samsung normally announces its new flagships at Mobile World Congress in February and then launches them in March or April, this year they are expected to be announced a little earlier in January and should hit the stores some time in February.
As soon as we get some more details about the new Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge smartphones, including full specifications and some pictures of the devices, we will let you guys know.
