The new Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge come with two storage options, one is 32GB the other is 64GB and luckily the handset also comes with a microSD card slot.
According to the guys over at Droid Life, the system software on the Galaxy S7 uses a massive 8GB of the handsets storage for Samsung’s TouchWiz and also their system apps.
The good news is that the handsets support up to 200GB microSD cards and Samsung’s lets you move their pre-installed apps to the SD card if you want.
We suspect if Samsung’s had not included an SD card slot in this years handsets like the Galaxy S6, owners of the new device would have been less than pleased by loosing 8GB on the device.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 replaces the Galaxy S6 and we compare the Samsung Galaxy S7 vs Galaxy S6 in our handy guide. And also have a look at our iPhone 6S vs Samsung Galaxy S7 comparison.
