Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge is set to launch in 20 countries of April 20th, but it’s also set to launch in other countries in the coming weeks.
Samsung Philippines announced the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge will launch in the country on April 18th. The 32GB version of the handset will cost 35,990 Philippines Peso ($800) while the 64GB version will carry a 41,990 Philippine pesos price tag ($934).
As for the Galaxy S6 Edge, it will be available in both the 32GB and 64GB variants, and will cost P41,990 and P47,990 respectively.
Unfortunately, the 32GB model of the Galaxy S6 will be available gold color only, while the 64GB version will be available in all color options.
Samsung Galaxy S6 comes with a 5.1-inch display sporting a resolution of 2,560 by 1,440 pixels resolution, a Exynos 7420 processor paired with 3GB of RAM and 32/64GB of internal storage. Unfortunately, there’s no microSD card slot available.
Other features includes a 16MP camera for photos and videos, a 5MP front-facing camera, a 2,550 mAh battery and ships with Android 5.0 Lollipop as its operating system.
Reports suggest both handsets will do well this year compared to its predecessor, with forecasted sales amounting to 55 million by the end of 2015. It remains to be seen how successful they will be, we’ll update you as soon as we get to hear anything more.
