We have been hearing about the Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime for some time, the handset is said to be a premium version of the Galaxy S5.
Before the Galaxy S5 was launched, there were a number of rumors about a device called the Samsung Galaxy F, and it would appear that the Galaxy F may be the name that Samsung uses for the Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime when it launches.
@evleaks has posted a press render of the Samsung Galaxy F (Galaxy S5 Prime), which can be seen below, and the handset appears to come with a metal finish, this is something we heard previously, that the Galaxy S5 Prime would use premium materials.
As we heard before, the Galaxy S5 Prime is expected to come with a number of upgrades over the original device, this will include a QHD 5.1 inch display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels.
Other updates on the handset over the original device are said to include a quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor clocked at 2.5GHz, the device will also come with an Adreno 420GPU and 3GB of RAM, it will feature the same cameras as the S5.
Yesterday the Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime turned up in South Korea, the device received certification from the Radio Research Agency, which is the same as the FCC in South Korea.
We previously heard rumors that the new Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime would launch some time in June, we are expecting some sort of official announcement from Samsung on the device later this month.
