Earlier today we heard that the international version of the Samsung Galaxy S4 would come with Samsung’s new Exynos 5 Octa 8 core processor and that the US version of the Samsung Galaxy S4 would come with a quad core Snapdragon 600 processor.
Samsung will officially announce their new Galaxy S4 at a Samsung Unpacked event in New York on the 14th of March, the event will also be live streamed in Times Square, and now Samsung has released a new teaser video of the Samsung Galaxy S4.
Unfortunately Samsung did not show off the new Galaxy S4 in their latest video, although we suspect we may get a glimpse of the handset in a future teaser video from Samsung before the handsets launch on the 14th of March.
The US version of the Samsung Galaxy S4 is rumored to be powered by a 1.9 GHz quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor, the international version of the device will feature Samsung’s 8 core Exynos Octa 5 processor, the two devices will share the same specifications apart from the processor.
The Samsung Galaxy S4 is also rumored to feature a 4.99 inch full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, the handset will also come with 2GB of RAM and a choice of either 16GB, 32GB or 64GB of built in storage.
Other specifications on the Galaxy S4 will include Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and dual cameras, with a rear facing 13 megapixel camera for photos and video and a front facing 2.1 megapixel camera for video calls.
We are also expecting a number of new features on the Samsung Galaxy S4, which will include Samsung’s version of Android’s Photo Sphere, to be called Samsung Orb and new touchless gestures, plus some sort of new eye tracking technology with features called Eye Scroll and Eye Pause.
The Samsung Galaxy S4 will be officially announced in New York on the 14th of March, we are expecting the handset to go on sale in the US and Europe in April, some time between the 15th and 22nd of April, as soon as we get some more details on an exact release date we will let you guys know.
