Last week we saw more evidence of a new version of the Galaxy S4 smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy S4 LTE Advanced, which will run on the faster LTE Advanced data network.
Now Samsung’s CEO JK Shin has confirmed the handsets existence, although he did not reveal any of the specification on the Samsung Galaxy S4 LTE Advanced, or where it would be available.
“We’ll be the first with the commercial launch of the advanced 4G version of the smartphone,” Shin said.
The heard last week that the Samsung Galaxy S4 LTE Advanced will come with the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor will a clock speed of 2.3GHz, last week we saw a benchmark of the device which was significantly higher than the existing S4.
Other specifications on the device are expected to be the same as the existing device, and will include a 5 inch Full HD Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, and it features Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, it also comes with 2GB of RAM.
The Samsung Galaxy S4 LTE Advanced will feature a 2,600 mAh battery, the device also comes with dual cameras with a 2 megapixel front facing camera and a rear facing 13 megapixel camera, plus a choice of 16GB, 32GB or 64GB of built in storage and a microSD card slot.
