Earlier this week we heard about the issues with the fingerprint sensor on the Samsung Galaxy S10 smartphones. When a particular gel type of screen protector was used with the handsets, any fingerprint would unlock the device.
Samsung announced that they would be releasing a software update to the handsets and also the Galaxy Note 10 handsets to fix the issue.
Samsung has now release a software update for the fingerprint sensor on the handsets affected and this should resolve the issue.
This is not a regular firm ware update, so you will receuive a popup notification telling you to install this small software update. The update is said to be around 4.2MB in size, so basically a very small update. If you own any of the Galaxy S10 or Galaxy Note 10 handsets it is recommended that you install the software update.
