Samsung is slowly rolling out the Android 5.0 Lollipop update for a number of its handsets such as the Galaxy Note 3, Galaxy S4, Galaxy S5, etc. and the list continues to grow as we move on.
Lately, reports suggest that Samsung has started to roll out the Android 5.0 Lollipop update for the Galaxy Note Edge in India.
The update is apparently rolling out as we speak for Note Edge users in India. The update is rolled out in phases so it may take a little while to complete — don’t panic if you can’t see it at the moment. Alternatively, you can manually check for the update and try your luck by going to Settings > About device > Software update. If it’s there, you should be able to download it, but make sure you’re connected to a WiFi network if you don’t want to choke out your data limit.
As for the Android 5.0 Lollipop, it brings the all-new Material design, improved lock screen notifications, a better multitasking interface, improved battery saving and security, ART runtime, and lots more.
If you’re in possession of the Galaxy Note Edge, do let us know in the comments if you’ve received the update.
