Samsung has released a software update for the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 in Europe. The update is apparently a maintenance update that includes a number of bug fixes. Included in the update is Samsung’s new Secure WiFi feature which basically adds a VPN to the handset.
The update for the Galaxy Note 8 also includes updates to the Calendar, Gallery, Voice Recorder and reminder apps. There is also a fix for an issue that was affecting Samsung DeX.
The new Galaxy Note 8 software update is now available as an over the air update for the handset. You can check to see if it is available for your device by going to Settings > Software Update > Download Updates Manually.
If you install the update on your Note 8 smartphone, please leave a comment below and let us know. Also let us know where about in Europe you are located.
