Not too long ago, Samsung announced that its latest phablet, the Galaxy Note 8, will launch in India on September 12th, and started pre-registrations of the handset.
According to a new report, Samsung India has received over 250,000 pre-registrations for the Galaxy Note 8.
It’s worth mentioning that the pre-registrations are just a mere number of people who are interested to know about the handset. As per the report, over 150,000 customers have shown interested to purchase the handset on Amazon India, while the remaining 100,000 registrations came from Samsung India website.
It’s worth mentioning that Samsung planned to launch the handset in India on the same day when Apple is expected to announce the highly anticipated iPhone 8. Pre-orders of the Galaxy Note 8 are expected to commence with the availability rumored to commence on September 25th.
Samsung Galaxy Note 8 features a 6.3-inch display sporting a resolution of 2960 by 1440 pixels, an Exynos 8995 processor paired with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The device also comes with a dual 12MP camera for photos and videos, a 3,300 MAh battery, and Android 7.1.1 Nougat as its operating system.
