Samsung Galaxy Note 7 met an unfortunate end last year due to all the exploding devices, which apparently was caused by battery issues. So it’s a big challenge for the company to make sure the successor to it has all the features to attract the customers.
According to a new report, Samsung is working on the upcoming Galaxy Note 8 which is codenamed Great and not Baikal as it was rumored earlier.
Furthermore, the report also mentions that the handset will carry SM-N950F model number when it launches, skipping “4” as its somehow considered unlucky in the Korean market.
The report continues to mention that Samsung is also working on a refurbished Galaxy Note 7 but it won’t be available in global markets except South Korea. We’ve already seen reports that the company is rumored to introduce the refurbished units in developing markets.
It’s not confirmed at the moment about the launch of the refurbished Galaxy Note 7 as its just a rumor and it may even not launch in Korea as well. As for the Galaxy Note 8, we’ll update you as soon as we get any other information.
