Earlier today, a report hinted that Samsung is set to unveil the refurbished Galaxy Note 7 FE as Fandom Edition on July 7th, at least in South Korea.
Recently, the alleged device was also spotted on GFXBench, revealing the specifications it will bring at the table when it launches.
Over the past few months, we’ve heard quite a lot about the refurbished Galaxy Note 7 and that it will come with a similar set of specifications except a smaller battery and a few minor changes.
As per the listing on GFXBench, the handset is Note 7R which could possibly be the codename of the device. It’s listed to come with a 5.7-inch display sporting a resolution of 1920 by 1080 — the original version came with Quad HD but there’s a possibility that it’s been tested on a lower resolution. The handset is powered by an octa-core Exynos 8890 clocked at 2.6GHz paired with 4GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage, a 12MP camera for photos and videos, 5MP front-facing camera and Android 7.0 Nougat as its operating system.
There’s no word from the company about the official launch date, we’ll keep an eye on the news and update you as soon as we get to hear anything more.
