Yesterday, we saw some leaked press images of the trimmed down version of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, dubbed as Galaxy Note 3 Neo. The handset was leaked extensively in the past few and even posed for the camera alongside Samsung Galaxy Note 3.
If you’re residing in the US or the UK waiting for the handset to hit retail, there’s a piece of bad news for you. Samsung has confirmed the existence of the Galaxy Note 3 Neo, along with a statement that it will not hit the UK market. Additionally, it’s also revealed it will not even hit the US market as well, according to a word received from Samsung by the folks at Engadget.
It’s a little strange to know the handset will not make an official appearance in the UK or the US. The folks at SamMobile were told by their insider that it will launch in the UK, but things might turn out to be different in the end.
Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo is rumored to come with a 5.5-inch AMOLED display sporting a 720p resolution, a 1.7GHz dual + 1.3GHz quad-core (Hexa) processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB internal storage with a microSD card slot, 8MP camera for photos and videos, 1.9MP front-facing camera, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, 3,100 mAh battery, S Pen features, Galaxy Gear compatibility and runs Android 4.3 Jelly Bean out of the box.
We’ll update you as soon as anything else pops up on the internet.
