Last month, Samsung introduced the bezel-free Galaxy A8, which has already launched in the company’s home country.
If you’re based in India, you be glad to know the Galaxy A8 has launched in India carrying a price tag of INR 32,500. The handset is available in three color options: black, white and gold.
The handset offers an excellent set of specifications on board, including a 5.7-inch display sporting a resolution of 1,920 by 1,080 pixels. The processing comes with an an Exynos 5430 octa-core processor, instead of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage.
As far as the storage is concerned, there’s 32GB of internal storage coupled with a microSD card slot for expansion. The handset is hybrid dual-SIM which means the secondary SIM slot can be used for a second SIM or a microSD card.
Other features include a 16MP camera for photos and videos, a 5MP front-facing camera, a 3,050 mAh battery, 4G LTE connectivity, and ships with Android 5.1 Lollipop as its operating system out of the box.
The handset is available from Samsung’s own eStore, as well as through Airtel who are offering attractive data plans as well.
