Yesterday we saw some press renders of the new Samsung Galaxy A6 Plus smartphone. Now two more have leaked and they confirm two color options for the handset, gold and blue. We presume that the Galaxy A6 will also be available in these colors.
The Samsung Galaxy A6 Plus is rumored to come with a 6 inch display with a FHD+ resolution of 2,220 x 1080 pixels and it will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor.
Other specifications on the handset will include 4GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. If you need some extra storage it will also come with a microSD card slot.
Samsung Galaxy A6 Specifications
The Galaxy A6 will come with a 5.6 inch display with the same FHD+ resolution of 2,220 x 1080 pixels. This device will be powered by a Samsung Exynos 7870 processor and will come with 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage and a microSD card slot. The Exynos 7870 is known for its efficiency and decent performance, making it a suitable choice for mid-range devices like the Galaxy A6.
Camera and Additional Features
As yet there are no details on what cameras the handsets will come with, but based on previous models in the Galaxy A series, we can expect Samsung to equip these devices with capable camera systems. The Galaxy A6 Plus might feature a dual-camera setup, which has become a standard in many of Samsung’s recent smartphones. This could include a primary sensor for high-resolution images and a secondary sensor for depth sensing, enabling features like portrait mode.
The Galaxy A6, on the other hand, might come with a single rear camera but still offer a high-quality sensor for clear and vibrant photos. Both devices are likely to include front-facing cameras with LED flash, catering to selfie enthusiasts.
In terms of software, both the Galaxy A6 and A6 Plus are expected to run on Samsung’s custom UI based on Android Oreo. This will bring a host of features such as Bixby, Samsung’s virtual assistant, and Samsung Pay for mobile payments. Additionally, both devices are likely to support facial recognition and fingerprint scanning for enhanced security.
Battery Life and Connectivity
Battery life is always a crucial aspect of any smartphone, and the Galaxy A6 series is expected to deliver in this department. The Galaxy A6 Plus might come with a larger battery, possibly around 3,500mAh, given its larger display and more powerful processor. The Galaxy A6 could feature a slightly smaller battery, around 3,000mAh, but still sufficient for a full day of moderate use.
Connectivity options for both devices will include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, and GPS. They are also expected to feature USB Type-C ports for charging and data transfer, which is becoming the standard in modern smartphones.
As soon as we get some more details about the two new Galaxy A6 smartphones, we will let you guys know. These devices are shaping up to be solid mid-range options with a good balance of performance, features, and design.
