We previously heard a rumor about the name for the new Samsung Foldable Smartphone, now a recent trademark filing suggests then handset will launch as the Samsung Infinity Flex.
Samsung recently filed a trademark for the Samsung Infinity brand and now more trademarks under this brand have been discovered.
These new names include the Samsung Infinity Flex, the Samsung Infinity O and Samsung Infinity U, these new trademarks were recently filed with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
The Samsung Foldable Smartphone is expected to be made official at the Samsung Developer Conference this week, although the handset is not expected to go on sale until next year.
The device is rumored to come with a 7 inch foldable flexible display that folds in half, the device is also rumored to have a secondary display for notifications when it is folded in half. We are expecting it to either be powered by a Samsung Exynos processor of a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor.
We will have more details about the new foldable smartphone from Samsung when the device is made official later this week at Samsung’s Developer Conference which takes place between the 7th and 8th of November.
