Samsung has released a new video in Vietnam which shows off some concept future devices alongside some new devices that may launch soon. We are pretty sure that the Samsung foldable smartphone is included in the video.
The Samsung foldable smartphone, or Samsung Galaxy Fold, is expected to be made official next month. Samsung is holding a press conference on the 20th of February where the handset will be made official along with the new Galaxy S10 smartphones.
Innovative Display Technology
The Samsung Galaxy Fold is rumored to come with a 7.3-inch display that can be folded in half. This display will feature a resolution of 2152 x 1536 pixels, providing a high-definition viewing experience. The foldable nature of the display allows it to transform from a tablet-like device into a more compact smartphone form factor, offering versatility and convenience for users.
In addition to the main display, the device will also come with a secondary display that is used when the handset is folded in half. This secondary display measures 4.6 inches and has a resolution of 1960 x 840 pixels. This smaller screen allows users to perform basic tasks such as checking notifications, making calls, and sending messages without having to unfold the device.
Advanced Features and Specifications
The Samsung Galaxy Fold is expected to come with a range of advanced features and specifications. It is rumored to be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, ensuring smooth performance and efficient multitasking. The device is also expected to come with a substantial amount of RAM, possibly up to 12GB, and ample storage options, potentially up to 512GB.
The foldable smartphone is likely to feature a robust camera system, with multiple lenses to cater to various photography needs. This may include a primary high-resolution sensor, an ultra-wide-angle lens, and a telephoto lens, allowing users to capture stunning photos and videos in different scenarios.
Battery life is another crucial aspect of the Samsung Galaxy Fold. Given the dual-display setup, the device is expected to come with a large battery capacity, possibly around 4,380mAh, to ensure it can last through a full day of use. Additionally, the device may support fast charging and wireless charging, providing users with convenient options to keep their device powered up.
We will have more information about the new Samsung Foldable smartphone when it is made official at Samsung’s press conference next month. The launch of the Samsung Galaxy Fold marks a significant milestone in the smartphone industry, showcasing the potential of foldable technology and setting the stage for future innovations.
