Earlier this month, some early adopters of the Galaxy S8 reported problems related to the display where a red tint appears on the screen.
Samsung recently addressed this issue during their earnings conference call and said the company has thoroughly checked the device and are confident about the quality of the device.
Regarding the issue, the company said, “Due to the nature of Super AMOLED displays, there can be natural differences in color. Users can optimize the color depending on their preferences.”
However, the company did promise that an update will be released for the new flagships in the near future which will give users the ability to better optimize their unit’s display colors as per their preferences.
Some users also reported a problem related to the wireless charging capabilities, and that may be a problem with the Samsung wireless charging pad as some users reported that they can wirelessly charge their device with non-branded devices.
