Samsung has announced a new Blu-Ray player at this years IFA, although this one comes with a higher resolution that current Blu-Ray devices, the Samsung 4k Ultra HD Blu-Ray player.
The Samsung 4k Ultra HD Blu-Ray player supports 4K Ultra HD video and HDR programming and the device comes with the model number UBD-K8500.
The Samsung 4K Ultra HD Blu-Ray player supports 4K video at up to 60 frames per second and it come with built in WiFi which supports the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands. There is also a USB port and the device is capable of connecting to Samsung’s latest Smart things Hub.
Samsung have said that their new 4K Blu-Ray player will launch in Europe in next year, there will be 4K content available for the device from 20th Century Fox at launch, as yet there are no details on pricing.
