We’ve already heard a number of times that the refurbished Galaxy Note 7 will launch as Galaxy Note 7R with a smaller battery. However, a new report suggests otherwise.
According to a new rumor surfacing from the company’s home country, the refurbished Note 7 is expected to launch with Galaxy Note FE moniker in the coming weeks.
“FE” stands for Fans edition, which implies that the company aims to target hardcore Galaxy Note 7 fans in the markets where it plans to launch the device.
The device has already passed through various certification bodies which suggests that we may get to see the handest hit retail very soon. Rumors suggest that it will launch by the end of June.
The handset is expected to come with a similar set of specifications, but with one change on board: a smaller battery. Rumors suggest the handset will come with a smaller 3,200 mAh battery instead of the 3,500 mAh one in the original one.
We’ll update you as soon as we get to hear anything more about the launch of the refurbished Galaxy Note 7.
