Earlier this year, Motorola commenced the Android 7.0 Nougat roll out process in Europe and other key markets.
Rogers in Canada has now started rolling out the Android 7.0 Nougat update for the Moto Z Play in the country, as mentioned on the OS update page on the carrier’s website.
The update features a handful of new features and enhancements, including improved notifications, split-screen multi-tasking, and a several security improvements.
If you didn’t get the update notification yet, stay calm as the update takes a few weeks to completely reach all devices. Alternatively, users can manually check for the update by heading to About Phone > Software Update to start the download process, but make sure you’re connected to a WiFi network as the update is quite big.
