Lexus has unveiled what it calls a new-look Lexus IS at the Beijing Auto Show. The Lexus IS is the entry-level car in the Lexus range and the look is similar to the outgoing car. Lexus says that it kept the looks similar between the old and new cars because the original IS was so popular. The big change comes in the front fascia of the car.
The front end gets new headlamps and the front bumpers have L-shaped daytime running lights. A new grille and air intakes in the front bumper change the look of the car. The F-Sport version has a 3D F-mesh pattern with black metallic coating and functional brake ducts. Lexus fits the refreshed car with 10-spoke 17-inch wheels with new designs and bright machined finishes.
Two new paint colors are also offered including deep blue mica and graphite black glass flake. Inside the car gets a refresh as well with a large 10.3-inch multimedia display. The Remote Touch Interface on the center console also gains an enter button in the refresh. New interior colors include black and brown and the moonstone and ivory colors are replaced by a color called Chateau, a light shade with an ivory and grey scheme.
