Following on from their unveiling earlier this year the awesome Razor Turbo Jetts heel skates powered by an electric motor have been showcased at this years Toy Fair 2018 by Razor and the Engadget team has been able to have a quick hands-on try.
Developed for children and adults alike and building on the design of the heel skates that have been available for quite some time. The Razor Turbo Jetts heel skates have been designed to accept shoe sizes from youth 12 to adult 12 and are fitted with a rechargeable lithium-ion battery capable of providing up to 30 minutes of skate. Although this is dependent on the weight of the wearer. Once flat the battery takes just 60 minutes to charge from flat to full and when fully charged are capable of propelling users up to 10 mph. The integrated 80-watt, geared-drive electric motor activates once the skates becoming contact with the ground.
