Even though the new Razer Nabu smart band is still not available to purchase as yet, it has been spotted making its way through the FCC last month and now Razer has launched a selection of Android, iOS and Windows Phone applications specifically designed to be used with their new Nabu smartband.
The Razer Nabu smartband has been designed to notify you of incoming calls, texts, emails, and other app alerts, without distracting you in the moment. Check out the video after the jump to learn more.
The new apps that have been unveiled include a Nabu Fitness which as you might have guessed records the number of steps a person takes, the amount of distance they travel, how many calories they have burned and more. Together with the Nabu Utility, that has been created by Razer to enable users to set up their device, as well as being able to configure notification settings and more.
“The Razer Nabu smartband is a revolutionary wearable that delivers notifications from your smarphone right to your wrist, and helps you keep track of your daily activities. Its band-to-band communication capability allows for intuitive social discovery, giving new meaning to your interpersonal exchanges. Most impressively, the Nabu is an open platform that encourages your favorite third party apps and developers to create unique and delightful experiences for users.”
