beamPi has unveiled a new Raspberry Pi empowered Bmini Media entertainment system they have created which can be used to view media as the name suggests but also double up as a workstation and retro gaming platform.
The bmini entertainment system has been launched over on the Kickstarter website with the aim of raising €55,000 to make the jump into manufacture.

The bmini was designed to meet the current standards in terms of design and user experience. We wanted it to be as easy to handle as a smartphone or nomade game console.
The bmini can be used by everyone and can be customized in many ways. Most accessories (micro SD, USB memory, Controllers …) are compatible with other devices (smartphones, cameras…). So feel free to use our keyboards on your tablet or to adapt your own USB key on your bmini.
The bmini desktop edition is for those who will use more bmini as a workstation.The pack includes a bmini, a QWERTY keyboard with air remote and a wireless mouse for precision works.
