Anyone in the market for a portable, thin and lightweight wireless charger to keep their smartphone and mobile devices charged whilst away from the grid, might be interested in the new QiPack device which has this week launched on the Kickstarter crowd funding website.
QiPack has been designed to provide owners with a universal mobile and wireless power supply that works with either Android or iPhone devices, and works especially week with Qi enabled devices. Watch the video after the jump to learn more about this stylish portable battery pack.
QiPack is fitted with a 3,000mAh battery and measures just 8.9 mm thick, for non-Qi enabled devices you will require a receiver in order to charge from the device inductively. These are available to purchase separately from a number of retailers online. Its creators explain a little more:
“QiPack is crafted with a high level of precision to achieve our desired look. Made out of alloy steel, which is three times stronger than standard steel, the band provides a protective enclosure and allows for QiPack’s incredibly thin and refined design.
We also used a crystalline diamond to cut the chamfers (beveled edges) on the QiPack, giving our device that sleek look we wanted. By using recycled materials, such as aluminum and acryl, and by staying BFR- and PVC-free, we made sure that QiPack meets environmental standards, as well as our own. “
So if you think QiPack is something you could benefit from, visit the Kickstarter website now to make a pledge and help QiPack become a reality.
