What seem to be the the first shots of Nokia’s first MeeGo-powered device in the wild (quite a few firsts there, Nokia) have slipped out into the open, revealing that Nokia intends to be pretty consistent in its chosen design direction and… not much else. Unless you count smudged fingerprints as groundbreaking news.
Not only is this thing running the mouthful (read Harmattan) version of MeeGo, it also comes equipped with an 8 MP camera and a qHD display. CommunicAsia is round around the corner and the handset is rumored to be due for an announcement there, so if the pics have piqued your interest you won’t have long to wait for the more important details. An 8MP shooter is all well and good, especially if it matches the quality of the N8’s, but what we’d really like to know more about, and we’re betting you would as well, is the silicone driving the thing.
