Slightly Mad Studios has this week announced they have unfortunately had to make the decision to publish the Project Cars release date further back once again.
The latest Project Cars release date is now set for April 2nd, 2015 when the highly anticipated multi-format racing game will burst onto consoles worldwide.
Project Cars was originally expected to launch during November of last year and was then delayed until March 20th, 2015 before being pushed back to today’s new release date in April.
During the development cycle Slightly Mad Studios has been aiming to get both the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of the new Project Cars game running 1080p @ 60fps.
“For a racing game, 60fps is hugely important,”-“What people don’t know is that the physics underneath runs at 600 times a second. We measure the input you’re doing on the controller 250 times per second. Project Cars does that way more than any other game – they’re all doing that significantly lower. The screen refreshes 60 times per second – we’re measuring the tires, the physics, the suspension, all that stuff, 600 times.”
As more information is announced and new trailers are released in the upcoming weeks before Project Cars’s official release we will keep you updated as always.
