If you have always fancied battling against the Darkside or taking on a Jedi Knight, then you need to equip yourself with a professional duelling lightsaber which have been created by Jaroslaw Scibiorek based in Amsterdam.
Scibiorek has taken to the Kickstarter crowdfunding website to raise the €20,000 in funding he requires to take the professional LED light sabres into production. The lightsabers have been designed to be fully modular providing a wide variety of different options enabling you to tailor your weapon to your personal preference.
Watch the video below to learn more about these professional duelling LED lightsabers which allow you to battle it out in true Star Wars style. The creator explains a little more about the inspiration and design of these unique LED sabres.
What dueling means? It means, that with our sabers you can actually fight. Really. Like on the video above. Or even more. All our sabers (including electronics) are modular, which means that you can exchange any two parts with each other. Also, to modify your saber, you only need to buy parts you need, and your current ones will fit. This way you can have several different sabers with a fraction of a cost.
We aimed at designing and making high end and affordable sabers – ones you can use for display, cosplay and fighting as well. We aimed not only for fine looks, but also durability, ergonomics and brightness were our priorities. Did we succeed? We dare say yes, with videos and photos made, so you can be so convinced, as we are. At the moment, we have three fully functional sets: Sentinel, Mirash and Vanguard, as well as assortment of parts (different colours of LED modules, claws etc). These are finished, battle-tested, and ready for shipping. We have more sabers, items and options (like soundboard) in various states of development, from raw designs to field tests.
For more information on the new LED lightsabers jump over to the Kickstarter website for details and to make a pledge from €175 to be one of the very first to own one of the light or dark side LED light sabres.
