We recently saw the new Porsche 911 Carrera, which comes with a smaller flat six engine than previous models and the addition of turbos.
Now it looks like the supercar company has plans top change the engines again and they will launch their first Porsche 911 Hybrid in 2018.
Porsche is looking to meet the new CO2 regulations which come into force in 2020 and they are hoping that their new Porsche 911 Hyrbid will be able to achieve this.
The company already has hybrid models in the Cayenne and Panamera cars, both of these cars comes with a 3.0 litre supercharged petrol engine and an electric motor, they also have their Porsche 918 Spyder which is a hybrid.
It will be interesting to see what the company comes up with for their Porsche 911 Hybrid model and whether it will be a hit with Porsche fans.
