Even the smallest smartphone videography camera gimbals can still be quite bulky if you are searching for something small and compact to help smooth out your video footage. One solution could be the aptly named Pocket, a smartphone video stabiliser created by Sirui. Watch the demonstration video below to learn more about this compact video stabilising system which is small enough to fit in your pocket.
The Pocket video stabiliser is now available via Kickstarter from just $39, for the first 300 early bird backers and will start shipping during December 2018 if the campaign is successful and manufacturing progresses smoothly. “Lifting your stabiliser shouldn’t come with a groan. Or back pain (remember, bend those knees!). Pocket only weighs 145 grams. So, holding it is just like holding an iPhone6S. Throughout the design stage, we studied how people held things and analysed the dimensions of the human palm. The results: a stabiliser that’s comfortably handheld and completely groan-free.”
Equipped with a 1000mAh battery and Bluetooth connectivity the video stabiliser allows you to orientate your smartphone in either vertical or horizontal positions. The stabiliser is also equipped with a three-level LED light, selfie mirror and tripod connector. More details jump over to the official Kickstarter campaign page by clicking the link below.
