If you are a fan of PacMan you might be interested in a new Java application has been created that allows you to use your own city streets as your PacMan game board. PacMap is a location based game designed for Android devices and is played in real-time using your GPS location.
To play the game all you need a GPS signal a working Internet connection and some streets nearby. Your goal is to eat all the dots around your location to receive points. But beware! Ghosts will try to eat you, try to avoid them for as long as possible. Watch the video after the jump to see the PacMap in action.
If you fancy giving the game a go ,you can download a copy from the PacMap Sourceforge page. The application is still in Alpha release at the moment so needs a little tweaking in places and has been released under the GNU General Public License version 3.0 (GPLv3) if you fancy helping out.
