Creators of the Pebble Smartwatch who generated over $10 million in funding from the Kickstarter crowd funding site earlier this year, have now previewed their new Pebble Smartwatch SDK at Google I/O this month.
Allowing developers to get an early start on developing applications for the new smartwatch, using a number of popular programming languages and technologies.
As a recap The Pebble Smartwatch is a customisable Bluetooth-enabled smartwatch which has been designed to connect to both iPhone and Android smartphones.
The Pebble smart watch is equipped with a 144 × 168 1-bit display, 3-axis accelerometer and is powered by a Cortex-M3 ARM microprocessor.
Pebble have designed their smartwatch to be customisable by providing the ability to install new applications developed with its Software Development Kit (SDK). For more information jump over to the Pebble Developer Website.
