It seems that all the larger Internet companies are now following in Apple’s footsteps with retail stores, with Google opening its first Chrome Store in London and now PayPal opening its first pop-up store in downtown Manhattan, New York.
Even though the new PayPal store will not be a permanent fixture, it will allow PayPal to showcase its new technologies in person, and will be inviting merchants to come to the shop to see real-time demonstrations of PayPal technologies in realistic point of sale scenarios.
The new PayPal pop-up store will be located in the Tribeca neighbourhood on 174 Hudson Street, Manhattan, New York for the next three and a half months. So if you are in the area and fancy seeing PayPal’s new retail technologies first hand it might well be worth a visit
