At CES 2013 this week Parrot better know for its audio products, has unveiled a new addition to its range of products in the form of the Parrot Flower Power monitor.
The Parrot Flower Power monitor has been designed by Parrot to help users keep their indoor plants in tip-top condition and monitor their everyday needs directly from your smartphone. Watch the video after the jump to see it in action.
The companion app which links to the sensors pushed into the plants soil connect using Bluetooth and currently has a library up to 6,000 plants in a database developed by botanists, to help you keep your plant as healthy as possible.
The Parrot Flower Power sensors are available in either emerald or wood finishes and their batteries will last for 6 months on a full charge, measures sunlight, soil moisture, temperature and fertiliser. With push notifications reminding you of your plant’s needs when required.
Unfortunately no information on pricing has been released as yet, however the Parrot Flower Power is expected to launch sometime this year. As soon as information comes to light we will keep you updated as always.
