The Palm Pre Plus features double the RAM of the original Palm Pre, but the processor speed remains the same at 500MHz as the Palm Pre. Some of the guys over at Pre Central have decided to overlock their Pre to 800MHz.
It turns out that this new increased processor speed on the Pre has had no signification effect on battery performance, but have seen significant improvements in the Pre’s speed.
The mod is only available for Palm Pre’s running webOS 1.3.5.1, and not the newer webOS 1.4. You can find out full details about how to overclock your Palm Pre over at Pre-Central.
