It looks like the new HP Palm Pre 2 will be available in the UK from this Friday, the 12th of November, and it also looks like it will be sold SIM free rather than with any particular carrier.
There are no details as yet on which carriers will be selling the Palm Pre 2 and how much it will retail for on each of the various contracts, and there are no details as yet on how much the SIM free version of the Palm Pre 2 will retail for.
As a reminder, the Palm pre 2 will feature a 3.1 inch HVGA multitouch display with a resolution of 320 x 480 pixels, it also features a slide out physical QWERTY keyboard, and will run the latest version of webOS, webOS 2.0, there is also a five megapixel camera with an LED flash that is capable of recoding video and taking still photos.
Other specifications on the new Palm Pre 2 include an accelerometer, a proximity and ambient light sensors, plus integrated 802.11 b/g WiFi with WPA, WPA2, WEP, 802.1X authentication, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR with A2DP stero.
