Art Lebedev, the guys that brought us the Optimus Maximus keyboard are working on a mini handheld gadget called the Optimus Mini 3 Keypad.
The Optimus Mini is a mini 3 key keypad built around the technology used in the Optimus Maximus keyboard.
It is designed to be used with presentation software like Power Point, full details are rather slim at the moment, here’s what the guys at the Art Lebedev blog had to say about their new project.
We’re starting to work on a completely new design of Optimus mini. Main direction: to have something like ‘mini Tactus’. One small sensor display divided into three (maybe more) zones.
On the top of our wish list is wireless capabilities (a lot of people use Optimus mini three to control Power Point presentations).
Even when not plugged directly in to the computer Optimus mini should be able to receive signal. Thus one will be able to have AC-powered wireless PC informer anywhere within the Bluetooth range.
If this is anywhere near as clever as their Optimus Maximus keyboard you can bet that this is going to be a cool gadget.
