Previously, we heard a rumor that Oppo will launch the miniature version of their flagship device, the Oppo N1 Mini, next week in India.
According to a new report, Oppo India has sent out press invites for an event on August 11st where the company is expected to launch the Oppo N1 Mini for the local market.
The device brings a pretty decent set of specifications on board, and rocks a 5-inch display sporting a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, and is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chipset with 1.6GHz processor with Adreno 305 GPU. The device measures 148.4 x 72.2 x 9.2mm and weighs only 160 grams.
Oppo N1 Mini features 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, 4G LTE connectivity, a 13MP rotatable camera for photos and videos on the back, as well as a 2MP front-facing camera. Other features include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, 4G LTE, a 2,140 mAh battery and runs on Color OS based on the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS.
The handset launched in Malaysia for RM 1,398 (almost $438) so we could expect a similar price tag for the device in India as well.
