Opera has launched a beta version of its mobile web browser for Google’s Android smatphone platform, Opera Mini 5 Beta.
The latest version of Opera’s mobile browser is designed to be fast as it delivers your content using server side compression of up to 90 percent before sending the information to your smartphone.
The Opera Mini 5 Beta is now available as a free download from the Android Marketplace, or you can download it direct to your smartphone from m.opera.com/next.
The latest version feature tabbed browsing so you can have multiple websites open at once, speed dial which gets you quickly to your favourite website, and Opera Link which lets you synchronize your bookmarks between you computer and mobile phone, there is also a built in download manager function.
